What happens if you drag it down?
I didn’t bother trying out. These ads are just bizarre.
Edward Woodward
The actor died today, which makes me want to see “The Wicker Man” again to revisit his fantastic performance. Here is “Willow’s Song” from the film, NSFW due to Britt Ekland’s wanton nudity.

I decided to refresh the blog’s theme in a fit of my insomnia. Bad idea, my brain wasn’t really working so there’s some bugs in the blog which I will fix over the next few days. Posts shouldn’t be affected. Balls.
Still, good excuse to use this wonderfully tacky ani gif.

A Question of Genre…
People like to put things in boxes. It helps us explain things to others, musical genre is one. With the modern penchant for all things electronic it hasn’t been suffice to label a genre as “electronic” for a really long time. There are countless sub-genres from the headers of the likes of techno, house, electro and on and on.
This song, Palm Highway Chase’s Invisible Beach remixed by Werewolf by Night is one that, to me doesn’t really have a snug genre-glove fit. Electro-house doesn’t really fit it for me, I have seen some references to Dreamwave but that is too Cocteau Twins. No, for the growing style of 80’s soaked, Sci-Fi dreaminess that has been purveyed by the likes of the Valerie Collective and Palm is something else. There is generally a unified love of neon, glowing artwork. Therefore, I will be referring to this particular style as “Neon”.

I think it works, what do you think?
